Portfolio example: Software (UI), eCom website and advertising copy

reMarkable is a Norwegian technology company that manufactures distraction-free digital paper tablets designed to replicate the tactile feel of writing on real paper. 

They were ready to launch their paper tablets on the French market and brought me onboard as their French localization partner in October 2025. Since then, I have worked with various departments to bring the reMarkable products to life in French, including:

SOFTWARE

Localizing reMarkable's entire product user interface (UI) into French from scratch, working hand in hand with the software team to ensure a seamless and coherent user experience for French customers, testing the French UI in context to eliminate potential issues, and providing ongoing language support for software updates.

WEBSITE/E-COMMERCE

Localization and transcreation of reMarkable's website into French for the launch of remarkable.com/fr-FR in June 2026, including all landing pages, product pages and other website copy.

CREATIVE ADVERTISING

Transcreating advertising campaigns to support new product launches and seasonal marketing efforts with social media posts, static/video assets and voice-over scripts.

OTHER PROJECTS

• Localizing Amazon listings, images and A+ copy
• Creating a French Tone of Voice guide and a full glossary to maintain the brand's identity and ensure a consistent French voice across all platforms, including guidance on inclusive language and technical terms
