European Player Network (EPN)

Part of the Asmodee Group, European Player Network (EPN) is a specialized distribution company of English language board and card games in the European market.

I have been localising EPN’s product listings on Amazon France on a monthly basis since March 2023.

This involves post-editing machine translation output into French for a variety of game brands, including Pandasaurus, The OP USAopoly, Plaid Hat Games, Cryptozoic Entertainment and Dyce Games.

Skills:

• Ensuring content is easily understandable to French customers by editing machine translations (MTPE)
• Aligning content with EPN’s guidelines for tone of voice, terminology and content style
• Researching technical games vocabulary as well as character names for licenced brands like Harry Potter and DC Comics
• Making sure all listings follow Amazon’s guidelines, for example for character limitations
